Delete Your Shuttls Account or Data
Shuttls (Alexanda Lyon, trading as Shuttls, United Kingdom). Last updated:
This page explains how to ask Shuttls to delete your account, or just some of your data, and what happens to it. See also our Privacy Policy.
Delete your account
Option 1: in the app (fastest)
- Open the Shuttls app and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Option 2: by email (if you cannot sign in or have uninstalled the app)
- Email privacy@shuttlsapp.com with the subject “Shuttls account deletion request”.
- Send it from the email address on your account, or include that address. Never include your password.
- We may ask for proportionate verification, then confirm once your account is deleted.
Delete some of your data without deleting your account
Email privacy@shuttlsapp.com with the subject “Shuttls data deletion request” and say what you want removed, for example:
- Health and fitness data (heart rate, calories, distance and workout summaries) synced from your watch or Health Connect.
- Match history, racket records, photos, or location requests.
- Any other specific records you name.
You can also stop future health or location collection at any time in your device or Health Connect permissions. That does not remove data already synced, so email us to delete those copies.
What is deleted and what is kept
Deleted when you delete your account: your account and sign-in details, profile (name, username, photo, settings), matches and activity, health and fitness records, friend connections, racket and equipment records, notification tokens and linked-device records.
Kept, or not covered, where there is a lawful need:
- Financial and legal records (purchase and club-payment records) kept for accounting, tax, fraud or claim requirements. We keep only what is needed, and not your health history.
- Club membership, attendance, billing and dispute records, which clubs may keep under their own retention rules.
- Support and error records, kept for the enquiry or incident and proportionate security or dispute follow-up, then deleted or anonymised.
- Matches recorded by other players may remain in their history, with your details removed or anonymised where we can.
- Copies held by providers, and originals in Apple Health, Health Connect or Garmin Connect, which you manage separately.
Retention period: we aim to complete requests within one month. Backups and provider copies may take longer to clear. We do not use a fixed automatic expiry period; kept records are retained only while a legal purpose remains.
Subscriptions: deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription or club membership. Cancel those in Google Play (or the App Store) or with your club.
